Wow a lot has happened!
Its been a long while since I have posted anything on this blog, other than a funny vid i made about busy moms,
so ya, its been a whirlwind to say the least in life!
But i am reading a beautiful book called Bloom by Kelle Hampton and I felt inspired to share again!
I had Liam in August and he is already 6 months. He is a wonderful addition and the girls absolutely adore him!
Well our precious Jo Jo is 2 and a half. She just underwent her third abdominal surgery and now has a flat belly!!
It is amazing to see. When i first pulled up the sheet to look at her belly I gasped and made lots of noise, which if you know me, I am always loud. Anyways, the nurse thought i was upset and was trying to console me that the red scar would turn white eventually. LOL I laughed and was like, no you don't understand, she has a flat belly!! I can't believe it, I am happy!! Anyways, we showed the nurse a before and after shot and then she understood.
Josie is fully versed in going up and down the stairs on a whim and she gets those whims often! You most likely will find her on the stairs most parts of the day; she likes to hang out there! lol
She is also pulling herself up on things to stand! which is amazing to see. I know she will be walking one day! It is great as some people don't have much expectation at all from trisomy kids. I encountered a dr. today that obviously was thinking that Josie probably didn't speak at all or make any sounds. I was like, nooo , she talks a lot! I felt defensiveness rise up in me as her mother. I know its not the dr's fault and that is probably all she has read about Trisomy 13, but ya, it was a bittersweet reminder of the way others look at her. Sadly I had a little boy at a play place making fun of her face and saying it looked different. I found Savie with her arms wrapped around Josie so tight, giving this boy the stare of death, like don't you get near my sister! It was so cute!! And I was proud of Savie for acting that way, and even though the mother of the boy was trying to shush her son and walk away, it still stung.
Anyways, things have been great, and thing are great, but thought I would also share a few not so great moments as well.
Savie is 4 and going to school every other day. She really likes it and it amazes me how mature and grown up she is becoming. She is so sweet and so creative with her cutting and pasting. She makes great works of art! Well i must sleep before L's next bottle,
thats it for now!

Hey Jules,
I have checked your page faithfully for a long time for updates! I am so excited that Jose is doing so well! I was confident that she would be! Isabella is well, too, other than being so small for her age! You can see pictures of her on my facebook page... Hmmmm...
