hello i am back!

Well, it has been quite a ride since i last posted and i have decided to revive my blog!
now that my beautiful baby girl is 6 weeks old! i have a little more time than in the beginning
savannah was born on Nov 20th 2008
by c section
i was in labour for 12 hours at home with no drugs! this, i will Not do again! i mean i won't wait that long next time to go to the hospital.
i was under the care of Thames Valley Midwives, and i attempted to have a home birth, but due to complications, had to be admitted to st. joes.
anyways, by 4:37 AM on thrus nov 20th, savannah was born
We have been on cloud 9 ever since and drinking lots of coffee!
So today was the first day that dh went back to work and i was home alone with baby.
it went really well!
i determined to have some kind of routine now that i am in this new role of stay at home mom,
so off i went with baby in the bjorn and doggie in his coat for walk, not a long one mind you, but i would like to try and do this daily to get some exercise and fresh air
then did some cooking,
and finally attempted the first outing alone without Daddy.
you see, its a bit more difficult for me , as i can't lift the car seat yet due to my incision healing
so.. i had mark put the car seat in the car last night and bundled up baby to the car.
then off to sears we went :)
she slept the whole time and i got my shopping fix
anyways, it felt nice to have some freedom as since the surgery i have had to rely on mark alot for ALOT of things
well that is it for now.

baby is giving me big smiles today and lots of coos.. i love her so much!
