well just got back from a midwife apt, and it went really well,
Met a lady named Terry this time, they like you to meet everyone just in case your primary midwife is busy in another birth, so ya she was alot better than the last one i met
i also found out i am assigned to beth, who is the first one i met and REally liked, so i am happy about that
Now that i got all my questions answered about pros and cons re home vs hospital
We have definitely decided to go with a Home Birth!
i am so excited.
my main concern was how do they monitor the baby, but they check the baby every 10 minutes by doppler and if there are Any complication whatsoever, they transfer you to the hospital
but they are like a travelling hospital when you hear about all that they bring to your home.
Anyways, I heard the heartbeat again, nice and strong at 150 bpm :)

Hey there. I wish I could see a midwife rather than a crapy doctor who doesnt give two hoots about you. I am going to try and book in with the midwives at the hospital instead of the doc but I'm not sure if I am alowed. We have to pay for an independant midwife here if we choose to give birth at home but if we have it in a public hospital it doesn't cost anything.
